When we arrived to the school to be picked up by our host family we were all a bit excited but very nervous. They seemed to talk really fast and i think all of us asked them to repeat more slowly. When met up at the school we all shared our stories of our first night of the home stay. Everyones stories seemed good, we all had good meals and our host brother or sister were fantastic. Almost all of our new parents didnt know any english so that made it a good opportunity to learn because our host brother or sister wanted to talk in english. We have all been learning new words and phrases and dont worry we are learning appropiate ones. There was a party for us at Maggies house and we all learned how to salsa which was very fun but we were really bad compared to our hosts. So far everything has been great and we some what dont want to leave but we do miss our families back home. Cant wait to see everyone back in Kansas. Adios. - Acea
